You have the most pathetic excuse for a discussion forum that can possibly exist. Yes! Questions are the most destructive force to active discussion. Especially if they have the potential to start a controversy. And we all know how DANGEROUS controversies can get. That's why the "riff-raff" can be such a PAIN. They don't always agree with everyone. How can you possibly have any kind of fruitful discussion about ANYTHING unless you have TOTAL agreement on EVERYTHING?????!!!!! The administrator who closed that thread pretty much summed up what Wit.net is all about. Don't let discussions become DISCUSSIONS. Anything that doesn't parrot the WT view is quashed, leaving only one viewpoint. Threads that start generating divergent views are closed. And it shows. Dubs who get involved in discussions here at H2O really show the lack of experience they have in discussing anything controversial - it's not something they normally get exposed to. So they usually crash and burn...
And some just babble away unintelligibly - see FRED!!(I think that maybe Freddie should make Wit.net his permanent home, and soon. His experience here seems to be deeply traumatizing him. One of you guys should probably rescue poor little Freddie from the clutches of H2O before he COMPLETELY SHORTS OUT.)Bzzzzt!
Yes, I think that Wit.net is a WONDERFUL place for a loyal dub to hang out. No one has to THINK about anything. Their beliefs are never challenged, so they never have to defend what is basically indefencible.
That is why they love it over there and that's also why there's no real discussion. What a joke...
