I Love Texas. I always have, and now I have another big reason to. You show'em Bonham! Let the LoneStar shed a little light into that black hole back in New York they call home. While I am a little disappointed that there was no lynching involved, at least you put the dam rustlers on the road with their pockets empty!!! Round Bethel the song they should have been singing after that was "He is a Long Tall Texan, He Rides a Big White Horse! he comes from Texas on a big, white horse!"
I hope they turn that kingdom hall into a roadhouse, throw some sawdust on the floor and serve beer and steaks to natives and appreciative tourists, who couldn't help stopping to read the historical marker, "Here in 19-- a small group of Texans defeated a worldwide group of religious shysters, setting an example (as usual) for the rest of the world to follow and try to measure up to." The Eyes of Texas are Upon You playing on the Jukebox along with assorted Marty Robbins ballads and maybe a little western swing. Did the Guv'ner honor these boys? Put up some statues of them just above the lightening bolts up at Palo Duro Canyon??? If I was the Guv'ner I'd put'em up there and I'd rent space in New York on some roof top and put up big statues of them in hats and on their horses riding herd on Bethel and making sure those mavericks keep their castrated rectums out of Bonham. Where is Bonham? I want to put a big star on it on my map at work. I salute you, boys, you done us all proud!!! The Alamo, and now this, no wonder you are the stuff of legend.
