This looks a little uncertain as to whether or not Jesus is being referred to as 'Supreme Diety' or just one who has god-like power.
I personally don't think this is a 'proof text' regarding the trinity.
I think the trinity is an 'apologia' that tries to save the alleged monotheism of the Bible. To me it teaches a form of Henotheism or, god plus one.
