Haven't you contradicted your own argument? Of course God is not a false Lord, so both God the Son and God the Father are Lord, and yet there is only one true Lord. In Deut. 10:17 God the Father is called Lord of lords and in Rev. 17:14 God the Son is called Lord of lords. How many Lord of lords are there? One? Two? A true one and a false one? In Psalms 24:10 God the Father is called Lord of Glory and in 1Cor. 2:8 God the Son is called Lord of Glory. How many Lords of Glory are there? One? Two? Twenty-five? One true one and one false one? Jeremiah 10:10 calls God the Father "true God". 1John 5:20 says that Jesus is "true God". Isaiah 45:22 says that God the Father is the "only God". 1Ti. 1:17 says that God the Son is the "only God". It seems to me that you can come to one of two conclusions. You can either accept God as he has chosen to reveal himself to us, or you can try to explain him by using your human, finite mind. You can believe that God asked an angel to die for our sins, or you can believe that God cared enough to do the job himself.
