Luke's reference to the great tribulation is not the same as Matthew's and Mark's:

Note after introducing some signs of the last days in verse 11 it dates the following events including the 70CE destruction of Jerusalem as "before these things."

"11 and there will be great earthquakes and in one place after another pestilences and food shortages; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs. 12 BUT BEFORE THESE THINGS people will lay their hands upon you... Furthermore, when you see Jerusalem surrounded by encamped armies, know that the desolating of her has drawn near... and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations until the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled."

Some differences:

Only Luke specifically mentions "Jerusalem"; both Mark and Matthew mention "JUDEA".

Only Luke mentions the "appointed times of the nations" and the Jews going into exile.

Luke does not mention Daniel's prophecy; whereas Matthew and Mark do.

Luke does not use the term "great tribulation"; whereas Matthew and Mark do.

Luke does not say this is a one-time event that "has not ocurred since the world's beginning" as does Matthew and Mark.

CONCLUSION:
Luke specifically dates a separate event, the fall of Jerualem in 70CE as "BEFORE" the signs of the last days which happen long into the future. Matthew and Mark describe a "great tribulation" like had never occurred before that only happens once during the "last generation." (1914-1994).
