Whew! That was a mouth full. I hope I have time to respond to it all. This will probably be the last post until monday.....so if anything interesting comes of it, we can pick it up there.
You have caught me without a bible, however there is a scripture that says (paraphrase) my people will raise up out of the land that is, but isn't." If this scripture is disputed, I will have to address that later. We understand that to being the States, that of course didn't exist yet. So! I have always been under the impression that Jehovah has not always had "a people" and later came to be.
I also believe that many truth seekers have through time have read the truth of the bible. As an organization......??? You got me there. I don't know of any other one except the Jewish people, then shortly after anybody who excepted Jesus. Of course through time people have moved away from the true religion and gave in to pegan practices.

I must not have made myself clear on that one. I meant to say.....every religion thinks they are God's chosen people. Everybody thinks that!
