As for knowing better than the Society, as you say, if one is honest, there are very serious issues and Society teachings that are incorrect. There are also many teachings that are good and some serious ones that I agree with the Society. For example, I believe they are correct with respect to Hades being the sleep condition of dead rather than Hell Fire.
However, the issues where they are mistaken, some are minor, and some are very serious. I did not leave because of minor errors. It was the major problem with their teaching of the Last Generation and 1914. This to me proved to be a false prophecy, or at best a doctrine that was not spirit-directed. Yet acceptance of it was treated as a requirement to be among Jehovah's Witnesses. Therefore, it is given the weight of something from Jehovah.
I do believe that you missed the intent of what I wrote. I am pleased for you that you have satisfied for yourself everything the Society teaches as true and correct. Please, then feel free to show me and others in H20 where we are wrong on serious issues, as 1914.
