Talking about Babylonish meetings:

I have been attending a little group of religious people with a pastor. The guy knows his bible. He was explaining about love and the Greek expressions, exactly as the JWs. He encourages witnessing to others. He believes in prayer before any action is taken in the congregation to get God's direction. The people in "Christendom" aren't as different as supposed by JWs. This little group seems to have more genuine love than the brothers at the KH, as shown by their actions in helping the others in time of need. But as far as doctrines, trinity, hell fire torment ect. isn't for me. It's an interesting expierence for me anyway. He doesn't claim inspirational knowledge of the bible and expect everyone in the congregation to adhere to it or else! He says we can study the bible and God will give us the necessary knowledge for salvation.

His main emphasis is love of God and the ones in the congregation. The meetings are very informal and you can express your feelings freely. It feels good to be there but I am undecided if there is any real revelation from God to humans that can be really trusted to be the "truth". I'm still looking over the whole religious experience and wondering if anyone has the ability to decipher truth from fiction???
