It wasn't even an opinion based on anything either. You don't know anything about me, or what kind of friends I had. I don't make friends easy ( and please withhold the snide remarks ;-)) and it wasn't that I traded anybody off for new friends. I traded them so that I could best serve Jehovah. I am not there for little tea parties, I am there to sever Jah.
The Christmas issue and so forth weren't the issue until later. They were just trying to run my life plain and simple. It's no mystery what happened.
I don't have to be told when to buy gifts for my family, and they have come around to that fact. I can show love for them at any given part of the year. They are starting to see that you don't have to be a slave to a day to show love. After they calmed down a bit, they can see reason. We have dinner together all the time, we don't need one dictated day to bring us together.......and they are seeing it.
