I know sometimes H2O's flavor doesn't sit well with you, but you are certainly one of the finest thinkers the forum has ever seen.
Well, that's a bit hyperbolic, but thanks for the compliment. I respectfully disagree. There are far better thinkers here; it's just that most of 'em aren't as polite as I was.
H2O's "flavor" wasn't really what drove me off. It was You Know's insulting name for me. It was OK when he did it, since he was insulting to everyone. But I began to notice new JW posters coming here, people I had never said two words to, and they immediately began using that derogatory term when talking about me. It was clear that my reputation among the newbies was being shaped by the slander. That reduced my effectiveness, IMO. After all, if I was a liar, why should my words be taken seriously?
So that's the real reason I quit. I didn't post a goodbye since I had done that in the past and we all know how accurate "This is my last post" posts tend to be... :-)
