When Af characterizes JW beliefs, actions, and policies, he is not talking about your actions, beliefs, and so forth.
This issue between AF and myself on this thread has nothing whatsoever to do with JW beliefs and practices. It has to do with whether we should be respectful of other opinions when that in question is quite subjective. As to whether AF made this an issue between us, all I can do is repeat what he said to me.
When Greg gives evidence of being sincere, he'll be taken seriously. Until then it's self-serving damage control. Surely a mature man like you can see this.
Besides being directed to me I presume that that statement also includes others holding the same view as me. That is, those seeing things differently on this subjective issue are immature compared to AF. That is arrogance and disrespectful of other participants. This is not a black and white issue for resolution. What one decides is not wrong or right, mature or immature. It is just their choice and should be respected for that.
The dishonesty resulted from AF distorting my explicit and well-known views. That comparison between my view of the Society versus what is going on between us on this thread is absurd, and he knows it. I have expressly said that some manifestations of JW convictions have been arrogant. For him to say otherwise is dishonest.
