Greetings,
I've been "lurking" for sometime. Wondering whether or not to post or just stay to myself and work things out. At times a quiet retreat is all that it needs. However I thought from my perspective the WTS might be exposed more.
I am not bitter at all. I did not have any type of judicial cases or hearings, although the local elders were after me hot and heavy. I just never allowed myself to be trapped.
One thing the flock book says, is that if a person is willing to meet with a judicial committee thus in effect admitting accountability to the WTS then this should be considered. So I decided that I was acountable only to Jehovah.
I have much to say to all here, and am probably no more than anyone else who serve the WTS in a Full time capacity. I will say this, not to claim any status, as many in the WTS often seek, but only to let all know just to what extent I've seen thing globally. I did graduate Gilead, (hence my handle) I always had this as a goal and all my passwords on every computer protected file was always "Gilead". I had Glass and Redford as instructors and our class was than at WTF.
It was a most intresting experience. In fact Bro Glass told our class, "Statistic shows that a percentage of you sitting right here in these seats will leave the truth." I must agree tha gilead and foriegn service opens up ones eyes to the WTS being and international printing organization that imposes religion on itself.
Happily I was able to see the real WTS up close and too personal, before I grew into an old man. I'll say this, all the petty nit picking you that goes on in a missionary home is all but too true. I have seen stuff in the branches and homes that'll bring a diligent JW to their knees.
I often told fellow missionaries, "If the local brothers could peek in this home and see what we are fighting about and how. Our work would be done here."
To close with a famous society letter closing...
We send our best wishes and warm christian love...
