Did you see his opening statement. Here it is again:
Not all people who lurk here are free to stop going to meetings. Some people are financially dependent on others, some may have controlling relatives, some may have to take an elderly relative to meetings, or otherwise be coerced to attend.
I think he was trying to be funny and making a point that their are many trapped in the JW system. I'm sure some do have backbones but don't want their loved ones to choose between them and the Borg.
I'm not using my screen name because I don't want you biting my head off. I guess I'm chicken too.
