You are now doing what you condemn, i.e., making judgements. Each of us has to decide for ourselves how to handle this kind of situation. I simply decided what my response would be and acted accordingly without factoring in how others might see it. Alan F. was the one most targeted by recent happenings and I see absolutely nothing wrong with his response and reaction. Greg's apology was a general one to the board and only AF can decide if that is sufficient to address the issues that directly concern him. That is why there has been such a split reaction. It would have been far simpler if Greg has simply apologized without loading his post with what amount to disclaimers together with counter accusations.
Just because I accepted Greg's apology, for a variety of reasons, does not mean that I want this acceptance to be used to beat others on the board over the head with. Apologies don't necessarily undo wrongs and accepting an apology is not always the right thing to do. Ok?
