Thanks so much for this quote! It just dawned on me that you have provided the ideal "back door' for the WTS to change their blood policy.
After all, it is easy for them to say they had one
"inspired idea" before and then changed and now are going back to their original idea! This is good for them since they don't have the complication of thinking the "apostates" came up with this concept of this being an accommodation rule for the Gentiles and not an overall rule for all Gentile Christians!

But I wonder when it actually changed. Do you know? It would be nice to see if there was a formal dismissal of this topic by the WTS. I'll check the WT-CD to see what their latest included WTS reference is, but I think the blood ban was well in force by then, in fact, I know it was.
Does anybody really know when the blood ban got developed for sure? I'll do a little research in the Proclaimers. I don't think they'd misrepresent that issue.

But can you imagine the embarrassment when they lift the ban if they actually do? All that past BLOODGUILT!
The question is, are they more interested in saving face or saving another witness life who is trying to abide by their blood ban?
The GB is between a rock and a hard place, which is down in a deep, dark hole. They can't survive this intact. This scandal will be equal to or greater than the 1975 fiasco.
