"The way it works is by (for lack of better word) ADOPTION. That is, Jesus simply adopts the (dead) body and identity of one of his imperfect followers to appear in the flesh. So he is separate from the fleshly body and person he adopts before this. That's how it works. And yes, that person whom he becomes requires salvation just as any imperfect one."

If Jesus adopts the "(dead) body" as you said, do you mean physically dead at the time or spiritualy dead? As you wrote it it looks like the body was dead first. If physically dead, then how can he know the experiences of the person who died and how can he feel the emotions of an imperfect person? The "dead" know "nothing at all" according to the scriptures.

If it is physical then is this way, entering dead bodies, also true of the "annointed" who take physical bodies. I was of the understanding before that this was a sort of two persons in one sort of thing, sharing as it were. Please clear this up for me.

Thanks,
