I'm afraid you are absolutely right, AF. The lame excuse that deletion of posts containing such links is to protect H2O is just nonsense. There is no laws against it, and even though our friend "Friend" have found quite a new way of expressing American ignorance (Norway is a banana republic, that do not respect HIS interpretation of the US law as it should be respected), tha facts remains the same.
As for the accusations said about "random deletions" - where I can see some moderators don't like much - they are true. I don't care give a lot of evidence - but my postings containing links to the Watchtower Observer are sometimes deleted with that excuse - while they (in most cases) are not.
The links are the same, and as long as 95% are untouched - while 5% are deleted - I'd say it's random.
Also, the "extreme hate" and "slander" accusations are hillarious.
If I would want to post real slander, I could just post quotes from the Watchtower literature. If anything in the world deserves the label "extreme hate" and "slander" - it would be those postings.
So - what does this boil down to? To the individual moderators own taste!
I agree that most moderators here do a good job, and I do agree with lots of the stuff they do. I have even voted in their favour. But that does not mean that all moderators are like that.
Every now and then a "new trend" crawls out of the woodwork, and most often to defend people that are JW apologists. Like what happened with the missing post from your beloved "enemy" at the moment.
While other postings is still on the site somewhere, I understand someone completely removed a painful posting.....
Honesty? Don't make me laugh!
