I think AF should quit while he’s still ahead. AF has a solid reputation as a gentleman, while Stafford has barely begun to establish his credibility again. Even if AF feels that Stafford’s apology is insincere, accepting it as the best he can expect from Stafford at this time would solidify AF’s reputation even more. Eventually, Stafford will show his true colors if he’s not being sincere. So, AF, give Stafford enough rope and start hanging him in the next debates :)
