Has anyone noticed the wording of these sentences under the FAQ's:
"Those who simply cease to be involved in the faith are not shunned...Disfellowshipping does not sever family ties."
Are not those who "disasociate" themselves classed as "those who simply cease to be involved in the faith?" And what about family ties? At the recent C.A. that I attended, the District Overseer specifically mentioned that he and his family severed all ties with his brother who had been DF'd for five years. Only his "non-believing" father had contact with him. This D.O. by the way, was a black D.O., if that narrows it down to who it could be. He has served in Dallas, Houston, and in other places. (just wondering if anyone here was at the same assembly I was at)
This site has whitewashed several things for the public that I can see. Even the statements on blood fractioning was a nice cover-up.
