AF, you remind me of the Oz character that was born without a heart. You demanded an apology, you got it, and the man honestly said he doesn't share your judgment against his character (in other words, he believes that he didn't commit the wrongdoing you charged), and you reject that. It's like a B-rated movie where the villain says "apologize or you die," to which the man says, "alright, if it will make things right, then I apologize." The villain puts the gun to the guy's head and his victim says trembling, "but you said if I apologized you'd led me live." To which the sneering villain replies, "I lied, you disingenous fool." I must say you've earned the place as most condescending, self-righteous and unforgiving person I have ever met!
One of these days at a time of your life when you are weakest, you'll discover that the standards you hold others' feet to, are the standards that will burn through your thick boots into the soles of your feet and bone.
