Hi Noggin, Sorry about the delay, but I live in a different time zone to the majority here. Yes, reading the scripture it almost seems said in matter of fact way that if you do eat blood then you must acknowledge the law involved by a ritual cleansing. Surely preseving a human life with a blood transfusion is more important than eating an animal that has died of natural causes (which sounds rather disgusting to me!!).
