Isn't it so that elders on judicial committees are required to judge people's motives purely by their actions? To claim that it's wrong for other people to do that is hypocritical.

Greg deliberately -- not accidentally -- attempted to deceive the H2O community. He was caught redhanded. He failed to apologize until he was hounded by many posters. Instead of simply apologizing (repenting) he attacked others and tried to justify his actions. His apology was couched in defensive terms that any judicial committee would reject out of hand

Do you disagree with these statements? If you were an elder on a committee judging actions like Greg's, would you consider him repentant or not?
