You know many people here have had to put up with attacks against their persons simply because they are not witnesses. I have had it done to me, been analyzed based simply on the fact that I was not a member of the WTS. One witness actually said about me "Why do you think she can't see the truth? Maybe she is too materialistic or too attached to worldly tradtions". This person can speculate on my character based on nothing other than the fact that I am not a witness. To be honest, I felt the attacks against you were at first justified, but became extreme. It was over. But what do you expect? As a group, witnesses are knocking us down, attacking our morals questionning our characters and all because we are not witnesses. Naturally when we see a witness display the same flaws that they accuse us of having, we are apt to point it out and throw a little salt on the wound.
If you want to play the "We have the best fruits" game, others might be inclined to inspect for bruises.
Practicus' and Ricks' posts to you are perfect illustrations. They tried to detract from your error by attacking nonwitnesses. It seems that we worldly folk can never win, can we? You lie because you are imperfect and then you say we lie because we don't worship jehovah, we are not witnesses, we have anti-watchtower motives, but never because we are human. So sad.
It's really difficult to reason or discuss anything of value with witnesses if they are continually going to insist on different rules for themselves.
