It takes a big heart to admit mistakes, and I never doubted your largeness of heart. Now that the opposers have gotten their "pound of flesh," that will hardly satisfy them. But you have done what was encumbent on you, and that is all a man can do.
The keeness of your scriptural insight, along with your disquisitional acumen and ability to defend the Truth are appreciated. It is not a matter of who wins a particular debate. Not even Jesus Christ convinced everyone. Till the day of his earthly death he had detractors and those who thought they had "bested" him in the contest of will and reason.
But we know who won.
