On the Society's new website www.jw-media.org, I noticed a quote in their "Contributions to the Community" page, a quote that suspiciously sounds like it could have originally came from James Penton. As a lot of you know Penton used to teach at the University of Lethbrige, and at one time even wrote a book titled "Jehovah's Witnesses in Canada: Champions of Freedom of Speech and Worship".
The quote:
"After studying social life in Zambia for a year and a half, a researcher from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, concluded that "Jehovah's Witnesses experience greater success than members of other denominations in maintaining stable marital unions. . . . Husband and wife are encouraged to be individuals with integrity. . . . This overriding demand for integrity cements marriage.""
Can anyone confirm either way whether this quote is from James Penton?
