My most serious (and I think my first) doubts were concerning the scriptures themselves. I posted some questions concerning some of those earlier this year.
It was after reading information on allowed blood components that I began paying extra attention to matters relating to the WBTS. The straw that broke the camel's back was reading the press release lies on how minors aren't even allowed to join as members of JWs.
Learning about Russell's beliefs was a real biggy.
Stuff just began to snowball bigger and bigger until there could be no doubt in my mind any longer that the God of the Bible was not a loving God and that this organization was not serving a loving God. (It also was not even following the Bible correctly.)
I was angry at being duped.
I knew I would never follow a man or a group of men again. I learned to follow my heart.
(Which is NOT, by the way, treacherous as scripture would have us believe. That is a bunch of made up crap to relinquish our power and give it to other men.)

That is the basic order in which things happened.
(To the best of my recollection that is. Memory gets spotty after a few joints, two Long Island Iced Teas, and a line of cocaine.)
Gotta go now...need to put on my Satanic music and join the orgy that is going on in my bedroom.
