How has it been? Can you post your new addess when you post? I don't think I have it. I apologize for not really checking there first. I haven't visited in a while and I need to really do that.
But LE, I think a concise statement is needed. I think "we" need to see it. And essentially witness lurkers need to see it.
I plan to do a rough draft just to see how it might be done. But really, this is something that needs to come from the movement, if no more than having a CLEAR message with respect to diluting the present policy.
But additionally I see this is a slight weakness for the Blood movement at this point. There needs to be a clear Biblical understanding that establishes the "option" to set aside any blood restrictions in case of medical emergencies.
And this is something not done well by committee. Perhaps I can twist A.F.'s arm into coming up with one for us. It shouldn't be over produced, just forthcoming. In the meantime I'll try my hand. But please post your address so I can review what you've got already. Your affront is great as far as the inconsistencies in the policy but not Biblically clear enough in most person's minds.
Thanks for your reply. And as much confidence as you have in their ability to write this, I wouldn't trust that since they certainly have missed focus on issues like this. The blood issue and the polygamy issue being two I can think of where they are totally blindsided on this.
Rick probably also could write a great article from the standpoint of blood symbolism.
Anyway, I'll post what I can come up with. If you can use it or revise it, I think it would be great to have it on file.
