Okay, here’s a simplified idea for your pondering.
Pre-Moses, show me where the Bible expresses any aversion toward using human blood to save human life.
Certainly you must agree that the Bible praises instances of spilling human blood (dying) to save the life of a fellow human. Why must we die to use our life symbol to save a fellow human? Where does the Bible forbid this pre-Moses? What it prohibits afterward is another discussion (but not difficult). But let’s take first things first.
