Hey Loyal JW's. What are you people doing here on H2O? According to the new official JW media site your supposed to be contributing to the welfare of your community by:
1) Organizing relief efforts to help those (even worldly people) who suffer the effects of war, natural disasters, or other calamities.
2) You may not have realized this but you're often the first relief agency to appear on the scene.
3) You're supposed to be donating needed materials and volunteering your services without pay.
4) And remember you're doing this not just for JW's but "worldly people" as well.
Is the WTS transforming itself into the Peace Corps or just creating another public deception?
Jack... who wonders how many of those 10 hours a month go to Christian charity rather than sales and who remembers when a destitute sister in my hall needed help the WTS and the vast majority of the congregation did nothing for her. When I gave her $50 I thought she was going to pass out with gratitude.
