No, I'm not Greg Stafford, nor am I here to defend Greg Stafford, because as far as I am concerned, the brother needs no defense. But I stand with him in his efforts to right the wrong committed against him by those attempting a cyber-lynching for a straw in Greg's eye, while hauling around huge rafters in their own.

Long ago I made the comment that sometimes it is necessary to "march into Hell for a Heavenly cause," to quote Don Quixote. For those who deride Don, I offer the example Don's was probably based on, that of Jesus' preaching to the abased inhabitants of Tartarus. Sometimes a soldier must wade through minefields, taking care as to where he steps.

While I personally feel no need or impulse to engage in argumentation with those whose minds are already closed, that does not mean I cannot appreciate those who step up to the plate. Greg has done, and is doing, an admirable job of that. I would no more second-guess his conscientious decision than I would want someone to second-guess mine.

Greg has brought to the table several relevant issues which the opposing side has not answered with any substance. Name-calling and pontification are not substantial rebuttals. Assuming that opposers are mental giants while Jehovah's Witnesses are braindead offers no enlightenment either. You debaters of the world are now facing an equal in the Truth, you have met more than your match in Greg, and you are reduced to stuttering and stammering, holding up straw men and turning aside to inconsequentials. Too bad.
