I tend to agree. Paul wrote a special letter to the "Hebrews" and so I see no issue with a special letter directed to the Jews in particular who were Christians, with a special emphasis on things they would have to deal with.

Of note, James mentions the "law" eleven times and "lawgiver" once. So the context certainly would be something the Jews in particular would relate to.

I don't see what the problem is, really.

But isn't it nice to allow the Bible to just be accepted without trying to make it fit some idea?
