Hi FJW,

You know, ordinarily, one would doubt such stories. There is a woman who claims to have seen Jesus and describes what it was like and she has been preaching to people about love and the like.

And now you say you saw Jesus in a blinding light.

Ordinarily I'd doubt this, but I can't very readily since I also saw Jesus in a near blinding flash. I only saw near his feet and the hem of his long robe which is very much the way he is described in Scripture (this was before December 25, 1992).

So I find this very interesting now when people say they saw Jesus.

But as you can see, this is at the same time quite wonderful because it is "personal." No one can really believe you or share your assurance. They can only doubt or wonder. But those of us who experience these things have an entirely different sense of of "reality" than others who haven't since we, like many ancient people of old who experienced the supernatural, know there is a God and a spiritual world. So our faith is all the more assured.

So thanks for being brave enough to share your experience.

I have some questions for you in a new thread if you are willing to answer them.

Cheers,
Bibleman
