Yes, we all heard the announcement.
I must admit being a little disappointed after the hype of this being a "milestone" announcement.
So I went with pen and notebook in hand only to scribble down 10 lines.

Anyway, two points I want to cover.
1] I don't see this as a "double take" with publishers giving AND householders giving.
Why? Simply because publishers give "as their heart impels them"
and householders give "as their heart impels them"
There will be a little confusion to start with but things will smooth out in the end.
(will the Societies coffers benefit? -time will tell)

2] What is the REAL reason for this though?
The letter impled that "we want to be apart from Babylon The great" C'mon Surely this is not the real reason?
Does anyone have information to show that the REAL reason behind the changes
are to avoid TAX RESPONSIBILITIES?

Regards
CR
