The WT book "My Book of Bible Stories" with printings over 40,000,000 copies shows only 7 clean animals going into the ark.
At Gen. 7:2 it says: "Of every clean beast you must take to yourself by sevens, the sire and its mate, ...."
Now if you take them by sevens (plural) you would take seven pairs ( male and female) which would equal fourteen.
Now why has the WT Society not been able to understand this simple math. The NWT uses "sevens" as plural to the subject singular "male and female".
The number seven does not give the natural number of pairs. There is one odd animal. That doesn't seem right. Noah would have to deside on whether it be male or female.
Have I got this all wrong or has the WT Society????
