I am an inactive Jehovah’s Witness, but God knows that I’m not an “opposer.” I have very strong doubts but I have never spread any anti-Watchtower thought, except with the few conversations I’ve had with my parents. I respect other Jehovah’s Witnesses who believe the Watchtower spiel, but I know that I will probably never go back to believe such nonsense.
Nevertheless, this Stafford guy was so supercilious in his posts that he became a complete turn-off for me. Perhaps he is a nice guy face-to-face, but as a writer he does not convey any human warmth and empathy for the rest us, the “deceived ones”.
