I have a question that has been bothering me. My mother is an active pioneer. I was a jw when I was a teenager but I am DA now. I asked my mother why if most of the nt was written for those with "Heavenly" expectations why James4:4 says they are "adulterous". My mom said James is talking to "worldly people" here. She said it is like if my brother wrote her a letter and I read the letter. Even though most of the letter was for her certain parts of it pertain to me. This does not make sense to me. Could another jw explain it better?
