Of course I don't take you seriously, I know you troll in here for fun BUT.....I think the gripe with the Voluntary Arrangement is this:
The Society *tried* to make it appear that they were switching to the voluntary donation method in order to make the literature available to all, even those who can't afford it. You know, to make it look like serving God was their intention. When it was discovered by the unsuspecting Brothers and Sisters that it was just to avoid paying taxes, well frankly they felt a little deceived.
Can't say I blamed them.
