I can't think of much more to add to what I said. If you're a Christian and you have sincere beliefs, I think that's fine as long as you don't do what so many do: ignore inconvenient facts.
I've found that many Christians object strenuously to the bringing out of inconvenient facts. The JWs actually practice disfellowshiping for doing so with certain facts. Such people seem to think that when people like me point out certain facts we're attacking Christianity. Well, some may be doing that but I'm not. I try to live my life according to what I can prove, and then according to what I desire. The latter, as you alluded, might be called faith. I certainly have some, although it differs from what most Christians have.
