Andy, that is an excellent point you made about there not being anything you can do to inform them of the errors in the religion. All you can do is pray.
knowing that saves a lot of frustration and guilt. I felt guilty about my dear friend whom I had to leave when I left the society. I wanted to tell her. I finally thought, I'd better just TELL her. So, I wrote down what I thought was some really compelling reasoning, and mailed it to her. She ignored it.
One of the best friends I ever had has been shunning me for some time now. That is so sad. I've adjusted to it and am okay. But of all the shunning, she is the one I miss still. Life goes on though.
But I also have told her several times that our family is here for her if she ever has a change of heart.
