It calls into question the motives of people who represent the WT organization. Most of JWs believe that the motive of the "society" of brothers and sisters making up the WT and Jehovah's people is rooted in love.
Yes, it certainly DOES. That's exactly where I threw in the towel, the "motives" of the deceptive, lying tongues of those who "claim" to represent the Sovereign of the Universe.
I have NO qualms with the individuals inside this organization, who are sadly misled as I was for 30 years. It is NOT their motives I question.
For a group of MEN to twist scripture, cover up wrongs, disfellowship those who are discovering their lies....yes, I DO find fault with that.
If an Elder is appointed (let's say) with God's holy spirit, and misleads the sheep in his care, how does THAT reflect on Jehovah? Did Jehovah make the mistake? Or......does the "Society" mislead itself AND others into believing the LIE?
As the scripture says, some will LIKE the lies.
Personally, I DON'T.
