I suggest you drop this Adam. I was the first to respond to both those posts by TravisJ45. Both of them were outrageous. Yes, I read the explanation. Problem is that it all sounded more like damage control than explanation. I still maintain that internal inconsistencies virtually nullified his explanation. Furthermore I have not seen any serious participants here malign the idea of Greg using a second persona for sake of carrying on his discussions. What people are outraged over is the manner in which Greg approached things. It was just too self-praising on one hand and condescending toward his opponent on the other hand. What would have happened to all that self-praise and condescension if TavisJ45 was not found out? In that case the posts would have deceitfully remained standing as a presumed third party view. Surely you see the problem with all that.
Perhaps you have already discussed this with Greg? If not I suggest you do so. I believe he will respond and tell you that he made a mistake. At that point whatever is done about it should be left up to him. All you are doing is fueling and fanning a fire.
Just my opinion.
