You were right. I'm back.

Anyway, Carbon-14. The Awake had an article on that back in the late 70's or early 80's where they explained in layman's detail why C-14 testing is inaccurate. I'm sure they had to jump through hoops to rationalize that one out. I don't recall any of their reasoning though.

The water above the earth theory was an ancient myth to explain rain (I'm being very general here). I learned that in a secular classroom. The WTS has adopted that ancient myth and made it "Truth."

Perhaps there is some truth in the theory of the water shield above the earth at one time. Who knows? Only God.

There ARE new diseases. But all in all, we are better off and healthier, especially the young. There is a reason for that. Some of the new diseases have been created by mankind, some likely evolved from benign things for whatever reason. But we have vaccines and at least in countries like the US and Canada, we have better, year round, diets.

BUT, where the diseases are truly growing is in the elderly. We are seeing more alzheimer's, more cancer, more broken bones, and so on, than ever before in history. I'm sure the WTS could run with the statistics and make an issue out of those.

But the fact is, people are living longer. The longer you live, the more likely you are to fall victim to one of the diseases that many elderly will fall victim to.

For example. there's an old woman at the nursing home who has alzheimer's. She's in her 90's. If she'd died in her 70's of cancer, she would not be adding to the alzheimer's statistics.

we are living longer, healthier lives, in spite of the "new" diseases on the world scene.
