Hi mz,

You prove my point! Can science tell us anything about "angels"?

My statements regarding not applying "logic" had to do with the "miraculous" things that are in the Bible that "logic" or practical science cannot address, just as science cannot address the concept of ART. It cannot define: LOVE. These things we perceive beyond the physical.

I was not saying, though, that in areas of research which involve things we should be able to prove, such as whether documents are copies from a later period of time and thus revised or whether they are authentic documents from the period suggesting reliability.

So you have taken two different fields of thought and found a contradiction in themk.

As far as "educated" people not believing the Bible or taking it seriously, that is usually the case. But that's why when Armageddon comes, all their so-called knowledge will become total foolishness. So being educated doesn't make you smart in areas that you can't research anyway. And its the foolish person who doesn't understand the limits of knowledge in certain areas.

Still, educated people can prove to be profoundly ignorant because some of what they have to learn has to deal with interpretation. Even archaeology is not considered a "science" but an art. Some are better at it than others.

Evolution is another theory that some people think is intellectual yet science has yet to create one living cell and no evolutionists tend to want to talk about ABIOGENESIS which completely contradicts evolution.

I think the problem with "higher education" is that they think it is superior to and should be esclusive of our own God-given senses of perception of the abstract. ART, LOVE, BEAUTY. Things that are preceived in human senses and cannot be defined in a petri dish or under a microscope.

You need BOTH. One balances out the other. If you only use one, you'll be missing so much.

Anyway, we can't do much about it now because
God isn't showing his direct power. But when Armageddon comes and he destroys Satan's undereducated world then they will know how valuable or valuless their so-called knowledge is.

It's like in the days of Noah. It had never rained before. It wasn't "logical" that it ever would and so they ignored Noah. Then when it started to rain they had to update their scientific journals. But it cost them their lives.

"So as in the days of Noah, shall the days of the Son of Man will be....."

The days of scientific "fantasy" are shortly to come to an end.

Know this.

Cheers,
Bibleman
