You are allowed to preach this? You must be blessed with an extremely liberal p.o., c.o., etc. How can that be, when "only those in association with the anointed remnant can hope to survive armageddon?"
>My understanding of “the end” is the time when Jesus judges the entire world of mankind in
respects to the good news provided by him, which essentially requires a good condition of heart. People accepting the good news and gaining a corresponding heart condition or otherwise gaining or having the good condition of heart will be judged worthy of future provisions under God’s Kingdom. Those judged otherwise will loose future life.
Friend
Stafford logic at work here.
So now you are saying the qualifying 'accepting the good news and gaining a corresponding heart condition' which means accepting our wonderful religion-becoming JWs, right? Isn't this a contradiction of the first part of your statement?
Again I ask you:
Since you are an 'active JW', do you preach this at the door?
>Yes, I do. I also teach it from the platform on various occasions.
I don't believe you, not for a minute.
Do you not realize the mockery of our 'memorial' with 14,000,000 pseudo-christians shunning the celebration of Christ's triumph?
>And just who made that judgment, you? Do you consider that people doing their best to believe, act and live right has but little significance in the eyes of our Lord and Master? (Consider Matthew 12:7)
I will quote it here:
NIV Matthew 12:7 If you had known what these words mean, `I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.
This is strange to hear this coming from someone who supports a religion that asks people to die for a false doctrine. If I understand you from previous posts, you do not support this doctrine, yet you will still try to recruit the unsuspecting into this travesty of a religion?
As long as you are flinging scriptures, consider this:
KJV Ephesians 4:4-7
4. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
What does this say about the Christian hope? How does the Rutherford doctrine of '35 contradict this? I wonder if John had this in mind in the following scripture?
NIV 1 John 2:26-27
26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.
27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him.
The Holy spirit teaches us, not men, certainly not YOUR men.
What does this say about the ones leading others astray? Don't you feel the weight of this on your conscience?
Here is the real gospel, straight from the Bible, 1st century CHRISTIANITY:
NIV Acts 13:32-34
32. "We tell you the good news: What God promised our fathers
33. he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: "`You are my Son; today I have become your Father. '
34. The fact that God raised him from the dead, never to decay, is stated in these words: "`I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.'
Did not Paul say, "I know only Christ crucified?"
Does this next one apply to all Christians, not just JWs? Does it apply to JWs who are not allowed by their masters to partake? don't bother giving me any Stafford logic on this, you know darn well that we are pressured NOT TO PARTAKE.
NIV John 3:16-18
16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
Do you demonstrate your belief in the Son by partaking of the emblems, as he commands all Christians to do? Do you advise others to do this...from the platform.
NIV Mark 14:22-24
22 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take it; this is my body."
23 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it.
24 "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them.
They ALL ATE AND DRANK. Up until Rutherford, ALL CHRISTIANS including Bible Students and JWs ATE AND DRANK. If you are trying to be as close to 1st century Christians as possible, how can you ignore scriptures like these?
Time to wake up Friend.
