Well I checked into it and the post from "Yo Tallyman" supposedly from a "Prominent Bethelite," was where GB was challenged for stating the WT Society has stocks among it's posessions.
Well it seems that the WT itself has shown that our GB member is more accurate than the supposed prominant bethelite!
Is "prominent bethelite" the one who has elsewhere on the net claimed that he was himself a member of the GB but could not leave, though he wanted to, simply because his spouse threatened suicide if he did leave the WT society?
Seems to me there are several claims that bethelites of some prominence are posting here and elsewhere on the net. No wonder the WT society saw fit to warn others about possible false connections in the Nov. Kingdom Ministry.
Are any such claims true? I for one will wait and see but I suspect Ros's GB is more knowledgeable than the supposed prominent Bethelite who also has still not answered the question about the piano - even himself!
Interestingly I remember a CO once mentioned such a piano. I remember it as a Stein or Steinway but may be mistaken.
Now although I do know that the Society owns numerous pianos this particular one was disabled, if I'm remembering correctly primarily due to it's proximity to the business offices of the WT Society.
Nearly everyone passing by seemed to poke at the keyboard so the keyboard was locked with it's cover closed - the key disabled was not an actual piano key but rather the key to the cover - broken off in it!
The piano remains there primarily as a display item or museum piece. I believe it was originally used during the WT Societie's radio broadcasts.
Now I am not claiming to be an official member of the GB so don't start any nonsence. I don't even hold a membership within the WT Society itself, though I am a JW, of reasonable standing and have an anointing that is fully alligned with the witness of the holy spirit from within.
If I remembered the piano correctly it is not of my doing, but if wrong then definitely my own doing along with my err for having merely posted here!
So you who know - was I right or wrong?
