Rahab's lie was a sin. Her righteous was declared because she was willing to sacrifice her good conscience in order to protect what she believed were God's servants. This did not make the lie acceptable or less wrong. the motive would likely be taken into consideration by Jehovah in granting forgiveness but it is still a sin.
You have declared Rahab’s action a sin. Show me where the Bible declares Rahab’s action a sin.
Show me where it was Rahab’s willingness “to sacrifice her good conscience” that was commended.
All you have done is read your own interpretation into a circumstance, and that very loosely. My conclusions may also be interpretations but they are closely paralleled by scriptural texts. Show me where your interpretations are so closely paralleled. I am especially interested in where you feel the Bible commends people willing to act sinfully toward their own good conscience.
