Hi Comf:

Comf, I am quite ready to "puke my guts out over" an "inspired" representative of Jehovah, like Jesus, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, but not those of the "semi-inspired" "spirit-directed" type like the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses.

It seems, my faith has not waned a bit over such a possibility. And I think the scriptures allow
for such a possibility to become a reality.

Comf, rather than dismiss anything, I'd like to keep an open mind. (I thought you were of the same opinion too.) We need to go back to the Word, and see what it is really is saying, just as "Rick" has done with Eze. 34. "Rick" has gone back to the scriptures to see exactly what they are saying, prophetically-speaking. This might be an important clue, not saying its everything, just an important clue to begin our long, long
journey toward real "truth".

We must not dismiss anything. Even a so-called "loney" like "Bibleman", can't be totally dismissed, completely. You see, what escapes most people is that sometimes, these guys can, even at worst, accidentally hit on something. He could possibly provide an unthought of, unpronounced, unconceived idea, foreign to our ears, yet plausible, a possible clue, somewhere we have not thought of.

Rule of thumb -- When you don't have all the answers, you have to be tolerate with everyone until you get them. Then, you can become more adamant in your beliefs, and much later when it becomes fact, church "dogma" is born...like is "fornication" still a sin? Yes, it is a sin. Over the years, it has been taught to be wrong, from a religious perspective, and we can become "dogmatic" about this as a religious teaching.

I personally, can't dismiss any possibility, that could possibly explain our present day situation.
So I'm forced to listen to crazy "Bibleman," even. Long as he is using the Bible, I listen. T
he Bible, I believe, has the answers.

This info was posted some time ago but didn't receive much discussion. Most dismiss to many things as impossibilities, when "all things are possible to those who have faith." Therefore, I think it is germaine to our discussion. It raises "certain" possibilities that needs to be considered by serious students of the Bible. We can't dismiss any possibility in our search for real "Truth" these days.

COMMENT MADE ON GOVERNING BODY MADE ON H2O:

That's because they don't predict the future...They study God's word.
They may misunderstand it but it was not yet time for them to understand it.

Hmmmmmm.

Is it possible xxxx, "discernment" or the ability to correctly "interpret inspired utterances," as found in scripture in the form of prophecy, things such as "sacred secrets," "mysteries" of scripture, and such are actually a "Gift of the spirit," FROM GOD, a miraculous event. It now becomes just like any other "powerful work," from God, like the ability to "speak in tongues," and the ability to accomplish powerful "healings?"

These are things that we do not normally see. It is, understandably, an "act of God."

Before you respond, carefully review with me 1 Corinthians 12:10 which says about these "gifts" from God. It states:

"to yet another operations of powerful works, to another prophesying, to ANOTHER DISCERNMENT OF INSPIRED UTTERANCES, to another different tongues, and to another interpretations of tongues."

verse 9 of the same chapter mentioned also, among other things, on that listing: "healings."

So, when we think about it, this is precisely what Jesus did, he correctly "intrepreted" the scriptures for his followers. This way, they had been given proper leadership, and were given a correct, accurate understanding of Scripture to base their newfound hope, from which they could now speak to others with real conviction. Now, the christian message and spread. But is needed. What is needed, to start off with, is absolute proof of inspiration, which then is a "gift of the spirit." -- 1 Pet. 3:15

Luke 24:27 says of Jesus:

"And commencing at Moses and all the Prophets he INTERPRETED TO THEM things pertaining to himself in all the Scriptures."

And after his resurrection, Jesus did not leave his congregation "in the lurch," either by leaving them "semi-inspired" or even so-called "spirit-directed" men to lead the congregation, but instead, appropriately left real "INSPIRED" leadership in the form of apostles, prophets, and other elders, who actually were given "gifts of the spirit," to give good, reliable leadership for the 1st century christians. Men like "Timothy," who actually had been given a "gift," from God. And he was not to neglect this "gift of God," that was truly "in him." -- 2 Tim. 1:6

So the CRUCIAL, missing ingredient is evidence of real "inspiration" which would also be, the ability to let the congregation know the events of THE FUTURE too. This is revealed for us at John 16:13, where the "spirit of the truth," is promised in our last days, to "guide us [Christian disciples] into ALL TRUTH," and to "DECLARE THE THINGS COMING," -- things coming such as future. The "Inspired" leadership of the first century were also able to do this to as was demonstrated many times.

So then, are we are to expect ANY LESS THAN THE SAME in our day? Are we? God has promised it to us. We should rightly expect inspired leadership too.

We too, deserve proper, spiritual leadership to become fully pleasing to our loving Heavenly Father. We, the church, the congregation of God. Footstep followers of Jesus. The Scripture is again, is John 16:13. It states:

"However, when that one arrives, the spirit of the truth, he will GUIDE YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH, for he will not speak of his own impulse [like the G.B & WTS], but what things he hears he will speak, and he will DECLARE TO YOU THINGS COMING [future]." -- John 16:13

So, real inspiration is the answer...that's what is lacking. This thought is quite firmly rooted within the Scriptures. There is no way one can get around this fact or avoid this crucial fact.

The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, as many other leaders of religions today, have correctly admitted that they are NOT INSPIRED. And judging from the problems that have occurred for this organization over its 125 year history, we'd have to say that of course, there is no middle ground, such as "semi-inspired," or "spirit-directed," that could be considered acceptable. Neither is it appropriate to say or teach that "spirit-directed" men, give us what we really need. This arrangement is grossly lacking. Also, it IS NOT the proper, Biblical basis for leadership within the Christian congregation, as claimed by Governing Body.

"Inspiration," the ability to "discern" sacred utterances," is what is actually needed. Nothing less will do. The Bible plainly tells us so. -- 1 Corinthians 12:10

Conclusion: Jehovah will have to send his people, "INSPIRED" leadership before this whole mess can be sorted out, and the Bible becomes "rightly divided," and important Biblical matters finally get "set straight" -- the "word of truth" would then be now, "handled aright," thus bringing about real genuine unity among His people. -- 2 Tim. 2:15; 3:16 KJV, NWT

Peace,

XXXXXXXXX
