Could this be what Bibleman referred to when he spoke of the JIOR, the mountians being one of the JIOR group out in the open, gathering (mountain meaning authority) in Christ's name? In the ravine, the secret part of the JIOR kept from sight? In all the settlements, the other sheep? The gathering from all the nations and countries indicating how scattered they really are?
"I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel."
Speaking of spiritual food (grazing) from the mountain heights, again with authority? Finally having all the truths revealed to them from Jesus and the JIOR? Having it available to all and not just the ones who geedily hold on to it for themselves? Having all revealed (the rich pasture) to everyone?
"I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak,"
This moved me. There are so many strays, hurt and injured, and it is good to know they will be healed. These could be ones in the congregation who are hurting and suffering from the unjustices but not knowing how this is going on. The ones who are searched for could be ones who were ds, or df or ones who drifted off. They will be "searched" for. This indicates that they could be any where, even in Christendom, pagonism, or in no religion at all. So this could mean that they will be off somewhere not even knowing the way back or not even knowing that they are lost, and will have to be looked for, found.
