The purpose of shunning is twofold
1 it makes the JDubs feel superior to everyone else and 2 the main reason
To keep JDubs from learning the truth about the Society from those who have learned about the lies and deceptiopn and false prophecee of the Society whom they lable "apostate".
Keeping the "loyal ones " ignorant is the main purpose for shunning and in order for the Society to survive the blood policy will change befor the shunning policy.
I am shunned by about half the congregation even though we have been found NOT guilty by the Judicial Kangaroo court. So even in shunning they are not consistant and allow themselves to be influenced by one corrupt elder.
I say one corrupt elder because HE was the only one who tried to DF me simply because I said no to him and he took it personaly.
Such is the JDub christian love for one another. Do as I say or I will order your brothers and sisters to hate you. No reason required.
Are they robots or have they been brainwashed? Maybe many of them are just plain stupid?
They certainly aren't following Christs example closely.
I'm glad I don't waste my time attending their booring meetings any more.
