H2O appreciates your valid concerns. I do not see where my comments and yours conflict and will not debate them.
Rick represented some scenarios that you objected to. As far as I know Rick does not have solid reasons from the deleting administrator as to their action yesterday. I do not disagree with what you stated to Rick but I do not think it matters because in the end I believe what happened was not based upon H2O’s FPP but was instead an ill-conceived attempt to do a good thing for someone. It was a bad idea and it only served to make matters worse. What happened yesterday was imprudent, no more. If you and others value this site then I suggest that you quit riding Rick on this one. He works hard to maintain this site and we owe him more than grief. What we all have expressed is sufficient.
H2O’s adminstrative community is not interested in holding any esteem. They are interested in providing a resource for Jehovah’s Witnesses and those interested in Jehovah’s Witnesses. If people want to participate that is fine. If they do not that is fine also. H2O only wants participation from people that feel comfortable doing so. If you are so inclined then you are encouraged to continue participation. Whether H2O should have the confidence and respect of people should not be determined by a singe incident. I believe that H2O’s record so far reflects dignity.
As things are H2O remains a resource. Expressing our objections is part of this site’s life and we are glad you and others have expressed what you have.
